Once upon a time... Our Background and History
New Beginnings is a Community Empowerment Center in Lowell, MA, which was founded as a pilot project of Advancement Plus, Inc., a privately funded non-profit organization. New Beginnings has 1 full-time and 3 part-time staff who are supported by many volunteers. The program serves the community as a resource center that empowers people to reach their personal, professional and economic goals through training, support, referral and follow-up. With seminars, individual meetings, computer training and community awareness, New Beginnings makes an ongoing effort to help people utilize surrounding resources and to take control of their lives.
