Note: Currently Advancement Plus, Inc. has the Non-Profit Status of a Private Foundation, because until recently we received the vast majority of our funds through a few generous donors. This means that although all donations are tax deductible, and we pay no taxes on our donated funds, we do have to pay a 2% tax on any interest gained from our accounts. It also means that our financial information is not up to date on the JusGive.org website, since they use Guidestar for their financial information, and currently Guidstars' system only supports Public Charity Non-Profits' financials, not Private Foundations'. What you will see is our information from 1999 when we still were filing as a Public Charity. We apologize about the confusion.
