One-On-One Meetings

New Beginnings can help you reach your goal by providing you one-on-one support. Due to people’s varying needs and our limited resources, New Beginnings offers two approaches to one-on-one support.

Weekly One-on-ones (availability is limited):

People who enroll in weekly One-on-ones will work with a staff member to identify obstacles that are in your path and refer you to the resources that are available to assist you. We will introduce you to organizational tools such as action plans, tracking sheets and modules. We will work with you on a progress report to encourage you toward your goal and help you set realistic expectations. In this way, New Beginnings is committed to your goal too! (Currently we do not have space in this program, but if you need assistance with something, please let a staff member know, and we will do our best to refer you to resources that can help.)

Floating One-on-ones:

For those of you who cannot set a weekly One-on-one or who do not need something that intense, you can call and set up a floating One-on-one. Floating One-on-ones allow you to set up from one to three appointments with an advisor to help you get jumpstarted on your goal, deal with a crisis, identify community resources, or get assistance with a module.

We ask if you can’t keep your scheduled meeting time, please give us a call at (978) 970-5692 and we will be happy to reschedule. Remember, together we can help you turn your goals into realities!

New Beginnings Confidentiality Policy

All of the staff at New Beginnings is available to assist you when you need help. This means there might be times when it is necessary for your advisor to share information about you with other staff. If at any time there is an issue you want to discuss with your advisor, but do not want other staff to be aware of, please make it clear to your advisor to keep it strictly confidential. Understand, of course, all student information is kept within New Beginnings.
